COVID 19
Ayer Kiddie Depot has implemented health and safety precautions and have been operating throughout the pandemic.
Will my child wear a mask?
It is our policy for children 3 years old and up to wear masks while indoors at Ayer Kiddie Depot if coughing or runny nose. Any child over the age of 3 is welcome to wear a mask for their family comfort. Children are not required to wear masks during meal-times, outdoors, or while sleeping.
What if my child won’t wear a mask?
Many families have reported challenges in getting their children to wear masks. What we have found that children at our center comply with our mask policy. During our daily routines we use language in the classroom to emphasize keeping our community healthy and safe in an age-appropriate way leaving very few questions from our students about why masks are important when they are coughing or have runny noses.
Will my child get to play with others?
Not only will they get to play with others, our educators will ensure they gain social-emotional skills and build friendships while in our care even when they wear masks.
